Responsibilities
Experience in specification writing
Perform field verification and take-offs existing systems for renovation projects
Coordinate with other disciplines
Has a thorough knowledge of Chicago Plumbing code, NFPA, and other codes as they relate to design of Plumbing and Fire Protection systems
Has ability to design domestic water systems and sanitary, waste, and vent systems
Develop calculations for Plumbing/FP system sizing
Understand work planning and manage the design process to the available hours in the work plan
Meet and work with contractors
Oversee deliverables to and from clients
Takes ownership of assignments
Qualification
Required
Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
Strongly motivated
Well organized
Show professional initiative
Ability to take ownership of assignments
Perform well both independently and as part of the project team
Experience in specification writing
