Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and secure Java-based applications using Spring Boot
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ensuring efficient and automated testing, building, and deployment of applications
Work with containerization technologies (OpenShift or Kubernetes) to deploy and manage applications in a cloud-native environment
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and defects in complex systems
Develop and maintain technical documentation for applications and systems
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Java development, DevOps, and cloud-native development
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support
Qualification
Required
5+ years related work experience, Professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry
5+ years of experience in Java development, with expertise in Spring Boot (2.x and above)
Strong knowledge of Java ecosystem, including Java SE, Java EE, and related technologies
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, etc.)
Containerization experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications
Strong understanding of cloud-native development principles, including microservices architecture, service mesh, and serverless computing
Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
Excellent problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Related Bachelor's degree or related work experience
