Responsibilities
Lead the transition from integration-focused delivery to long-term steady-state operations
Develop and execute transition plans that define timelines, milestones, and ownership across teams
Define and implement support processes, escalation paths, and service level agreements (SLAs) for BAU operations
Coordinate readiness reviews to ensure operations teams are fully prepared for ownership
Ensure comprehensive documentation of systems, workflows, support models, and dependencies
Drive structured knowledge transfer sessions between integration, ITSM, and operational teams
Validate that documentation meets IT governance and audit standards before transition completion
Establish governance frameworks to monitor post-transition performance, service quality, and compliance
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to measure stability and continuous improvement
Facilitate regular transition review meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field
7+ years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably in post-merger integration or transition management
Strong understanding of ITIL/IT Service Management principles
Proven success leading cross-functional teams through transition or stabilization phases
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
Must be able to be on-site in downtown Chicago for a few days each month
Preferred
Master's degree
PMP or ITIL certification strongly preferred
