Responsibilities
Developing, implementing, and managing strategies that drive and foster a culture focused on patient-centered care
Utilizing quality and performance improvement methodologies, including data analysis and management, to enhance clinical and non-clinical outcomes
Translating objective assessments and subjective feedback (e.g., patient relations, grievances, and complaints) into practical, measurable improvements across departments
Overseeing patient advocacy and complaint/grievance management processes to ensure rapid and effective resolution
Providing leadership and mentorship to staff to embed patient experience best practices into daily operations
Qualification
Required
Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program is required
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related field is required
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting with demonstrated leadership abilities
Minimum of 1 year of quality or performance improvement experience, including data analysis and management
Current and active California RN License is mandatory
Preferred
Masters degree in a related field is preferred
Experience in patient advocacy or formal complaint/grievance management is preferred
Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP) is preferred
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) is preferred
