Early Career Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Engineer
Geosyntec Consultants is an innovative, international engineering and consulting firm committed to addressing complex environmental and civil infrastructure challenges. They are seeking an Early-Career Geotechnical or Geoenvironmental Engineer to apply academic knowledge to real-world projects, including site characterization, landfill design, and earthquake engineering.

Responsibilities
Conducting geotechnical field investigations
Monitoring heavy civil construction projects
Performing and reviewing engineering calculations
Earthquake engineering
Landfill design and permitting
Dam and levee evaluations
Developing construction documents; and
Writing and reviewing engineering reports
Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil and/or environmental engineering
Regular field work and overnight travel (50%)
Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing
Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel
Preferred
Advanced degree the same
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or the ability to obtain certification within one year from hire
Prior internship or work experience in engineering consulting
Experience with geotechnical and engineering software such as AutoCAD, Slope/W, and PLAXIS
