Associate Director, Content Marketing
Scale Media is a company that builds and scales mission-driven health and wellness brands through data-driven storytelling and performance marketing. The Associate Director, Content Marketing will lead a high-performing creative team to develop and optimize content for digital acquisition campaigns across various platforms, combining creative intuition with analytical precision.

Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of creative strategists, copywriters, designers, and video editors
Establish a performance-focused culture rooted in testing, accountability, and clear KPIs
Manage creative workflows from ideation through launch to ensure speed, scale, and measurable output
Provide direct, data-based feedback to drive improvement and consistency
Translate consumer insights, platform data, and campaign metrics into actionable creative strategies
Partner with acquisition and analytics teams to identify high-performing creative patterns and scale learnings across brands
Build A/B and multivariate testing frameworks to validate hypotheses and optimize creative direction
Develop creative briefs tied directly to marketing KPIs — no fluff, just impact
Oversee concepting and production of platform-native assets (UGC, short-form video, motion graphics, static ads, landing pages)
Leverage funnel data, audience segmentation, and platform best practices to inform messaging, tone, and format
Audit and refine content based on key performance metrics (CTR, CVR, ROAS)
Drive rapid iteration cycles — launch, test, learn, repeat
Integrate AI tools to support ideation, copy optimization, and creative testing
Collaborate with analytics and growth teams to assess performance in real time and guide next-round creative decisions
Stay ahead of platform updates, emerging social trends, and evolving consumer behaviors to maintain competitive edge
Serve as the bridge between creative, media, and analytics — ensuring alignment and shared insights
Present creative learnings and performance results to leadership and key stakeholders
Partner cross-functionally with Brand, Growth, and Product Marketing to align creative strategies with business priorities
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in performance-focused creative strategy, content marketing, or digital advertising
2–3+ years leading or managing creative teams
Proven success creating and scaling performance-driven ad campaigns across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Amazon
Strong analytical mindset — skilled at interpreting data and turning insights into creative direction
Deep understanding of direct-response principles, consumer psychology, and content testing
Proficiency with creative and analytics tools (Figma, Canva, Motion, Triple Whale) and experience leveraging AI-based creative tools
Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills
Preferred
Experience in DTC health and wellness is a plus
