Responsibilities
Plans, schedules, develops, and implements a volunteer and recreational trip program for Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) Single Marine Program (SMP) and carries out all phases of activity applying an understanding of the interests and needs of the program participants
Appointed as a Government Purchase Card (GPC) to procure and analyze cost associated with the organization of transportation, hotel accommodations, and plans/schedules recreational activities
Develops marketing and increases promotional activities to attract and motivate participants by conducting presentations, creating marketing materials and utilizing social media and other authorized mediums
Operates a cash register to receive payments and make change, personal computer (PC) to produce a variety of correspondences and presentations
Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Three years' experience that demonstrates knowledge in planning and conducting a variety of recreational activities
Knowledge of coordinating recreational events to include scheduling, planning and marketing with various points of contact
Knowledge of office equipment, computer operations, common software programs, and procedures in order to maintain efficient functioning of the operation
Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR/first aid within 6 month of hire
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license to operate a government vehicle to transport passengers
