Responsibilities
Communicate to the dock staff what the status is on the orders that need to be tagged, wrapped, loaded, etc
Assist in monitoring dock staff and directing delivery drivers to the correct dock door
Ensure singed and completed BOLS are where they are needed at the end of shift and dock is clean and clear for the following morning shift
Close all dock doors and clean the work area at end of shift
Creating BOL’s for outbound shipments
Make sure pallets are stacked efficiently and within shipping standards
Pack slip the orders in D365 to insure the order is complete and will invoice
Producing international documents like commercial invoices, pallet labels, and all shipping documents
Load outbound freight onto trucks / containers efficiently and safely
Check in and stock daily inbound materials such as pallet, wrap, and tape
Coordinate with the shipping clerk what door containers need to be unloaded
Supervise the dock crew to unload, palletize and put away inbound items
Qualification
