Responsibilities
Conduct a Pre-Shipment Inspection for compostable paper straws
Storage condition, packing & marking verification
Quantity & visual inspection for color, cracks, and uniformity
Dimensional, weight, and finish quality checks (min 15 samples each)
Durability in liquid testing with video evidence
Odor, mouthfeel, and usability assessments
Carton dimension, barcode, and QR code readability checks
Sampling: General Level II, AQL 1.5 (Critical 0 / Major 1.5 / Minor 4)
Qualification
Required
Conduct a Pre-Shipment Inspection for compostable paper straws
Scope includes: Storage condition, packing & marking verification
Quantity & visual inspection for color, cracks, and uniformity
Dimensional, weight, and finish quality checks (min 15 samples each)
Durability in liquid testing with video evidence
Odor, mouthfeel, and usability assessments
Carton dimension, barcode, and QR code readability checks
Sampling: General Level II, AQL 1.5 (Critical 0 / Major 1.5 / Minor 4)
Industry Experience: Consumer goods, biodegradable / compostable products, paper or packaging manufacturing
Minimum 2–3 years in quality inspection or auditing (consumer goods, packaging, or paper-based products)
Familiar with AQL sampling and General Inspection Level II
Proficient in measuring tools (calipers, micrometer, digital scale)
Skilled in performing visual, dimensional, and weight inspections
Capable of conducting functional, odor, and durability tests
Knowledge of packaging evaluation and barcode readability
Ability to commute to Gadsden, Alabama 35904, USA. (and other AL areas after current Project completion in future)
