Payroll Analyst
WorkGenius Group is an automotive industry company seeking a Payroll Analyst. The role involves assisting with payroll processes, ensuring compliance, and serving as a subject matter expert in Workday Payroll.

Responsibilities
Assist with month-end close and reconciliation processes for all payroll groups
Research, resolve, and process payroll tax inquiries and amendments through ADP
Lead year-end activities to ensure all payroll actions are complete, compliant, and that accurate W-2 forms are delivered to employees
Serve as the technical subject matter expert for Workday Payroll and related functional areas, including Time & Absence
Participate in cross-functional project meetings, providing input on payroll-related agenda items and assessing the feasibility of proposed initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 6–8 years of progressive experience in payroll operations and system optimization
Strong understanding of payroll regulations, compliance standards, and multi-state tax requirements
Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level)
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
