Facility Asset Manager

Atlanta Airlines Terminal Company, LLC (AATC) is responsible for overseeing maintenance services at the Central Passenger Terminal Complex. The Facility Asset Manager will coordinate maintenance tasks, ensure compliance with regulations, and act as a point of contact for facility maintenance issues.

Responsibilities

Support AATC’s Asset Management Policy by assisting with contingency planning activities for proactive and project type work in areas of facilities maintenance and operations
Perform routine and complex troubleshooting, along with the monitoring and supervision of installation, repair, and maintenance work on building systems and equipment
Conduct periodic site inspections and evaluations, reporting on results
Ensure compliance with environmental permits, government regulations, and corporate policies
Perform quality assurance of completed maintenance inspections and corrective work by service providers and contractors
Conduct follow-up inspections to ensure corrective actions meet acceptance requirements
Document work performed and deficiencies identified through a computerized maintenance management system
Ensure compliance with OSHA Safety requirements by service providers and contractors
Provide input for planning and development of the annual department budget
Assist in snow and ice clearing operations and provide after-hours emergency coverage

Required

4 to 6 years of documented Facility Maintenance experience
Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is highly desirable
OSHA 30 hour certified (must obtain certification within 6 months)
Working knowledge of laws, regulations, codes, and practices governing building system maintenance and contract administration
Familiarity with mechanical trades testing devices and power tools
Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) and Architectural/Structural service trade concepts and practices
Familiarity with safety rules and compliance codes including NFPA, NEC70A (electrical safety), NETA (electrical testing standards), OSHA (workplace safety), ADA (standards for office and building to be accessible), and EPA (pollution control) compliance codes
Highly skilled in MS Office (Particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to pass requirements for approval for an ATL badge with customs seal. This includes a 10-year background search by fingerprint analysis

Preferred

Commercial MEP system design, installation, and life-cycle maintenance experience
Industrial Equipment Instrumentation & Process Controls experience
Facilities Management Certifications, including Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facilities Management Professional (FMP), and Facilities Management Certification (FMC) or Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA)/BOMI (sets standards for best practices in real estate industry) certifications
