Responsibilities

Providing administrative guidance, direct supervision, and training to clinical and administrative staff

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate clinical needs and provide quality behavioral/mental health services in a correctional setting

Developing and implementing site level treatment schedules

Participating in interviews and hiring processes, as well as performance evaluations and disciplinary procedures

Ensuring adherence to the Collective Bargaining Agreement

Qualification

IL Licensed PsychologistCPR/AED certificationSupervisory experienceBehavioral health experienceBackground investigation

Required

IL Licensed Psychologist or independent mental health license required

Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification

Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable is required

Preferred

Supervisory experience in a state or county corrections facility is preferred

Behavioral/mental health experience in a correctional and/or mental health residential treatment unit environment is preferred
