Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support for desktop and laptop computers, including Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
Troubleshoot software issues and perform software installations across various platforms
Assist users with VPN connectivity and ensure secure access to company resources
Manage help desk tickets using ServiceNow or Jira, ensuring timely resolution of issues
Support computer networking tasks including LAN setup and firewall configurations
Conduct hardware diagnostics and repairs for computers and peripherals
Maintain documentation of technical procedures and user guides for future reference
Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical problems
Deliver excellent customer service by communicating effectively with users regarding their technical issues

Required

Proficiency in VPN setup and troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of macOS, Linux, and Windows operating systems
Experience with ServiceNow or BMC Remedy for ticket management
Familiarity with Jira for project tracking and issue resolution
Solid understanding of computer networking concepts including LAN configurations
Expertise in desktop support and IT support best practices
Ability to perform software troubleshooting across various applications
Knowledge of computer hardware components and repair techniques
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment
