They are seeking a personal lines insurance professional to join their New Member Sales Team, responsible for selling Property and Casualty Insurance policies to new clients and expanding the company's book of business.

Required

At least 4 years of direct customer service or relevant experience

Associate's Degree or BA/BS Degree may be substituted for experience

Experience in the insurance or financial industry preferred

Keyboard skills of at least 35 wpm

Competent written communications skills

Excellent verbal communications skills, to include a courteous, confident demeanor and appropriate use of grammar and vocabulary

Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and Word

Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making skills

Ability to accomplish work according to established priorities and procedures

Ability to obtain the state agent's license within 90 days in the position, and to maintain an unrestricted license thereafter if incumbent did not have prior experience in a position with this requirement

Preferred

Experience in the insurance or financial industry preferred
