Clinical Informatics Analyst II, Ortho - Clinical Informatics/Information Solutions (Hybrid-Remote)

This role involves collaboration with end users and senior informatics leaders in project management and training while mentoring junior staff members.

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with end users and Information Solutions to design and deploy clinical information technologies
Perform intermediate to moderately complex level of technical and analytical work to support clinical information systems
Serve as a mentor to junior staff members, facilitating the acquisition of informatics skills
Collaborate with Senior Informatics leaders, other team members, and the clinical enterprise in planning, design, development, training, implementation, and project management of Information Systems

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college/university in a professional health care discipline (Registered Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Medical Technology, Respiratory or Occupational or Physical Therapy, or Pharmacy) required for hires on or after March 1, 2014
Three (3) years of clinical experience
Two (2) years of clinical informatics experience (i.e., developing, implementing and/or supporting clinical information systems) required
Epic Certification is required within 6 months of hire/transfer
Industry accepted informatics/information technology certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer
Demonstrated project management experiences; preferably in IT and healthcare
Active licensure in discipline (RN, RT, ETC) by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider

Preferred

Master's degree preferred
PMP preferred
Minimum of six sigma green belt preferred
