COMMERCIAL LINES ACCOUNT MANAGER

BayCoast Insurance LLC is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their dynamic team in Swansea, MA. This role involves managing a book of commercial business, building client relationships, and ensuring optimal service and support for commercial clients.

Responsibilities

Manage an assigned book of commercial business with a focus on accuracy, retention, and growth
Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients through proactive communication and personalized service
Prepare renewal reviews, process endorsements, and handle billing questions and policy changes efficiently and accurately
Work collaboratively with producers, underwriters, and carrier partners to ensure optimal coverage and pricing for clients
Review policies, audits, and certificates to ensure compliance with client and carrier requirements
Identify and recommend appropriate coverage enhancements and cross-sell needs
Provide prompt assistance with claims inquiries and other client service needs
Maintain detailed documentation of all client interactions and transactions in the Agency Management System
Stay current on carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and industry trends
Perform additional duties as assigned to support agency and departmental goals

Required

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Solid understanding of commercial insurance coverages, rating, and underwriting processes
Experience with Agency Management Systems. (Applied Epic preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comparative rating software
High degree of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail
Massachusetts Property & Casualty license required (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
