LO Materials Fabrication Engineering Aide
Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works program is responsible for advanced systems development, including conceptual design and rapid prototyping. The LO Materials Fabrication Engineering Aide role focuses on the fabrication of advanced composite materials, where the candidate will gain hands-on experience and work with engineering specifications and procedures.

Responsibilities
Work within a fabrication and completed part assembly environment
Gain experience with composite layups, fabrication, testing, and completion of advanced materials
Use fabrication techniques including dry & wet layups of composite laminates, vacuum bag, and curing
Work to engineering specifications, procedures, and drawings
Measure and inspect produced parts using various inspection and test methods
Use a methodical and precise approach to ensure successful completion of production tasks on highly sensitive and high value hardware
Qualification
Required
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Preferred
Experience in a hands-on fabrication or manufacturing environment
Previous experience in composite layups, fabrication, and testing
Experience with dry & wet layups of composite laminates
Familiarity with large oven and autoclave preparation and curing
Experience following engineering specifications and procedures
Experience reading engineering drawings
