Quality Control Inspector (PCB/PCBA) (2nd Shift)
CesiumAstro is a pioneer in communication systems for satellites and airborne platforms, seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector for their second shift. The role involves executing quality control processes, inspecting PCB/PCBA components, and assisting in the development of inspection methods and quality procedures.

Responsibilities
Executing Quality Control processes associated with purchased product, manufacturing operations, and customer quality requirements
Inspection of printed circuit boards / assemblies (PCB / PCBAs), verification of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical (EEE) components, and cable assemblies
Inspection using calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, and VMMs (Vision Measuring Machine)
Documentation of inspection activities using electronic information systems, written logs, and labels
Assist in the development, maintenance, and improvements of inspection methods, inspection plans, and internal quality procedures and processes
Assist with the resolution to internal/external nonconformance using root cause, corrective action, and 8D methodologies
Assist in data analysis and reporting of department metrics as required
Assist with the continuous improvement initiatives
Assist in the resolution of audit findings, observations, and recommendations
Assist with the control and disposition of non-conforming material (MRB)
Drive scheduling of day-to-day processes; ensure timely and accurate turnaround
Other QC duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience including a minimum of 2 years of experience in PCB/PCBA inspection required
Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
Experience with microscopic visual inspection
IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 certification
Experience with ERP and PLM software systems
Proficiency with reading engineering documents, CAD drawings, and detailed work instructions
Strong digital, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner
Preferred
Associate degree in a technical field preferred
Experience in the aerospace or electronics industry
