Responsibilities
Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using data analytics platforms; interpret code logic to validate data pipelines and ensure accuracy
Recommend new quantitative methodologies for consideration and/or or evolve quantitative methodologies already in practice
Apply advanced statistical techniques (SEM, ENET, K-means, etc.) to uncover actionable insights
Identify opportunities to automate analysis, including leveraging AI and ensure access to broader range of behavioral and operation data points
Create a knowledge warehouse for repeatable code and processes that can be leveraged by more junior analysts
Build strong relationships across the team and bank to align research priorities with strategic goals
This role will directly manage three analysts, acting as a player-coach, guiding team members on technical and analytical best practices
Synthesize findings into deep, compelling narratives and presentations and teach directs how to create a clear path from one insight to another
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Economics, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred) or equivalent experience
10+ years in Data Analytics, or related roles
Strong data analytics platform skills for statistical analysis, automation, and data modeling (Python preferred, R, SPSS, etc.)
Ability to write, read and interpret code for troubleshooting and validation
Ability to interpret complex data from multiple sources and connect insights across studies
Exceptional written and verbal skills
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint
Intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
