State of Missouri is seeking an Administrative Intern in Human Resources who will perform routine entry-level activities related to personnel programs and policies. The intern will assist with recruitment, compliance training, and provide general support to supervisors in HR-related matters.

Responsibilities

Recruit and pre-screen applicants; provide general assistance to supervisors on the interviewing/hiring process and the promotion or transfer of current employees to authorized vacancies

Provide information on current policies, procedures, and guidelines as needed, assist supervisors on matters related to the administrative of personnel policies, regulations, and department programs to ensure uniform compliance

Conduct job analysis on new or existing jobs; formulate recommendations on placement of the job within the salary structure; create reports using internal data systems

Collect, research, summarize, and provide routine analysis of information and data related to personnel policies and human resources programs; prepare responses to questions or requests for information of limited complexity

Review and compile data necessary for monitoring compliance and prepare related reports

Conduct compliance training and employee orientation programs

Perform other responsibilities as required or assigned

Required

Currently enrolled in a relevant bachelor's or post-bachelor's degree program full-time (12+ credit hours)

30 credit hours completed/accepted toward current degree program. High school or other postsecondary program credits must be shown to be accepted by the current program through a degree transcript to apply

Possess and maintain an overall GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.0, or equivalent
