OEM Component Sales Manager

The OEM Component Sales Manager plays a key role in managing and expanding relationships with OEM customers while developing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with OEM accounts to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and retention
Identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing and new accounts to maximize revenue and profitability
Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Service, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to deliver customer-focused solutions
Function as a trusted advisor by understanding customer challenges and aligning ERMCO’s products and services to meet business goals
Prepare and deliver regular business reviews, sales forecasts, and strategic account plans to customers and internal leadership
Provide guidance, training, and performance support to manufacturer representative organizations
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in alignment with company policies and customer expectations
Manage leads, track opportunities, and maintain an accurate sales pipeline through CRM systems
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement
Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and escalations to maintain strong relationships and service excellence
Represent ERMCO at trade shows, customer visits, and industry events to promote brand awareness and generate new opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in strategic account management, sales, or business development
Proven success in managing complex customer relationships and achieving sales growth targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to develop actionable account strategies
Willingness to travel up to 40% for customer meetings, site visits, and industry events
Preferred
Experience in industrial manufacturing, electrical equipment, transformers, power distribution, or related industries
Advanced degree or professional certifications in sales or account management
Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales analytics tools
Demonstrated success working cross-functionally in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
