Responsibilities

Lead the full lifecycle of Power BI report and dashboard development
Gather and translate business requirements into scalable data models and visualizations
Develop complex DAX calculations and optimize Power BI queries
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, DBAs, and business stakeholders
Manage and mentor junior BI team members
Ensure adherence to BI best practices in data governance, security, and performance
Support Power BI Service setup (workspaces, gateways, security)
Provide training and support to end-users

Required

5+ years of Power BI development (Power Query, DAX, data modeling)
Strong SQL skills and experience with databases like SQL Server, Snowflake, or Azure SQL
Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
Familiarity with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics)
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience leading BI projects and mentoring team members
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Preferred

Microsoft Power BI or Azure/Fabric certifications
Experience with DevOps/CI-CD for Power BI deployments
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain
Exposure to Docentric reporting tools
Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies
Experience with other BI tools like Tableau or Qlik
