Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership, direction, and oversight for large-scale, mission-critical AWS IL-5 cloud programs supporting DoW operations
Manage 24x7x365 operations teams delivering high-availability, compliant, and secure managed services across multiple cloud environments
Serve as the primary customer interface, providing clear, proactive communication on program performance, risks, and technical strategy
Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, architects, SecOps and DevSecOps professionals ensuring operational continuity and performance
Drive innovation through adoption of modern practices including SRE 2.0, AI/ML-driven automation, Agentic AI, AIOps, SecOps and FinOps for intelligent cost and performance management
Establish and maintain robust program governance and organizational structures for effective contract and personnel management
Implement and provide continuous improvement initiatives on Operations management including matured Observability practices
Champion continuous improvement and transformation initiatives across cloud infrastructure and operations teams
Interface directly with government PMOs and mission stakeholders

Required

Deep technical expertise in AWS IL-5 cloud programs
Experience managing 24x7x365 operations teams
Ability to serve as the primary customer interface
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams of engineers, architects, SecOps and DevSecOps professionals
Knowledge of modern practices including SRE 2.0, AI/ML-driven automation, Agentic AI, AIOps, SecOps and FinOps
Experience establishing and maintaining program governance and organizational structures
Ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives on Operations management
Experience interfacing directly with government PMOs and mission stakeholders
Core Competencies in Cloud Managed Services IL-5 (AWS, OCI, GCP, Azure)
Knowledge of SRE 2.0 / DevSecOps / CI-CD Automation
Experience with AI/ML Integration & AIOps Implementation
Program Financial Management & FinOps experience
Experience in 24x7 Mission Operations Leadership and Operations Management (ITSM)
Knowledge of Security Compliance (FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, DoD SRG)
Experience in Stakeholder & Executive Engagement
Knowledge of Risk, Performance, and Change Management
