Mid, Senior LevelAIA Ohio is seeking a Project Designer to lead architectural projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring designs and construction documents meet industry standards while collaborating with team members and managing project tasks.
Responsibilities
Confidently interact with other team members
Team with architects and engineers delivering all phases of architectural projects
Manage multiple project tasks at any given time
Develop concept design presentations for a variety of projects
Use current software platforms (Revit) to develop contract documents
Undertake more complex project delivery tasks as project requires
Lead project teams in the development of projects
Lead / Coordinate with consultants or clients on various project related tasks
Qualification
Required
Organized and can lead projects from conception to completion
Responsible to ensure the design, specifications, and construction documents meet governing codes, regulations, company standards and standards of the industry
Working literacy and capability in Revit is required
Ability to work in an office that has a casual culture with a team approach
Thinker/doer/manager, charged with leading the project and undertaking tasks associated with the full range of architectural project delivery
Participating in and/or leading project teams of 1-3 members
Coordinating with consultants and managing many areas of project delivery, from conceptual design through construction
Assist in the production of programming documents, concept design presentations, and construction documents
