They are seeking a Survey Field Crew Chief to lead a field crew in conducting various types of surveys, ensuring high-quality data collection and project execution.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage a 1–2 person field crew on active survey projects
Operate Robotic Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, and data collectors
Perform and oversee field work for topographic, boundary, roadway, and ALTA surveys
Conduct property research using online tools and county government offices
Upload and download data collector files and verify data integrity
Review field notes and files for accuracy and completeness
Prepare or assist with construction staking materials and point files
Coordinate with office staff to ensure seamless data transfer and project execution
Travel frequently based on project needs and client requirements
Qualification
Required
Lead and manage a 1–2 person field crew on active survey projects
Operate Robotic Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, and data collectors
Perform and oversee field work for topographic, boundary, roadway, and ALTA surveys
Conduct property research using online tools and county government offices
Upload and download data collector files and verify data integrity

Experience leading field crews or acting as a senior survey technician
Strong understanding of survey field procedures and best practices
Ability to work independently and make field decisions
Willingness to travel frequently for project work
Strong communication and leadership skills
Interest in professional growth and licensure advancement
Preferred
Processing surveys using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or OpenRoads Designer
Preparing construction staking files and materials
Experience with Trimble Robotic Total Stations and GNSS equipment
Some experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D
