Anctil Heating & Cooling is a well-established company in the greater Portland area, specializing in HVAC services since 1976. They are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment while providing excellent customer service to their clients.

Construction

Responsibilities

Work with safety in mind at all times
Inspect and troubleshoot problems with existing Commercial HVAC units
Install replacement parts on existing Commercial HVAC units
Clean, adjust, repair systems, and perform warranty services
Maintain inventory of replacement parts and order replacements
Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements
Participate in technical training, safety meetings, and teamwork projects
Ability to work after hours, over the weekends, and holiday work, as needed
Participate in the service team on-call rotation
Perform routine maintenance on Commercial HVAC systems to ensure they operate properly

Qualification

Commercial HVAC experienceEPA 608 CertificationPowerHand toolsTesting devices usageReading manualsMechanical skillsVocational trainingOregon LEB licenseProblem-solving skillsCommunication skills

Required

4+ years of Commercial HVAC experience
Current EPA 608 Certification
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Extensive knowledge of Commercial HVAC systems and related equipment
Ability to use power and hand tools
Ability to use thermometers, pressure gauges, and other testing devices to evaluate HVAC system
Ability to read operations and repair manuals for HVAC systems
Ability to follow instructions
Excellent mechanical skills
Excellent communication skills required to interact with customers
Valid Driver's License

Preferred

Vocational/technical school training or apprenticeship of an HVAC program- not required but helpful
Current Oregon LEB technician license a HUGE PLUS!
