Responsibilities

Test & inspect fire alarm systems according to specifications and codes
Conduct inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure functionality and compliance
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fire alarm equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire alarm systems in the field
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent service
Document all service and maintenance activities, ensuring accurate records are maintained
Stay current with national fire protection standards and regulations

Fire alarm systemsNFPA codesNICET certificationOSHA regulationsProblem-solving skillsAttention to detailWork independently

Required

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in fire alarm systems preferred
Willingness to work overtime, as needed
Willingness to work on-call, as needed
Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Technician or similar role
Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and inspection processes
Familiarity with NFPA codes and OSHA regulations
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred

Technical certification in fire alarm systems
NICET certification in fire alarm systems is a plus
