Regional Solutions Leader
Southern States ToyotaLift is a leading provider of material handling solutions, dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Regional Solutions Leader, you will lead a team to develop and implement sales strategies, foster customer relationships, and drive business growth in the material handling industry.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth by identifying opportunities at customer locations and training Solutions consultants in presenting impactful solutions to customers about Southern States’ products and services with a focus on new equipment
Promote turnkey Solutions involving all Southern States’ equipment, including New, Used, Specialty, Energy, and Systems
Identify and target new customers through proactive prospecting and lead generation
Lead the team effort to partner towards mutually beneficial and long-term customer relationships and goals
Build and lead team to maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and identifying additional solutions for these already existing customers
Assist team in developing creative and tailored client proposals by working to identify customer pain points to provide warehouse solutions
Lead team to achieve company market share goals and reinforce company credo that a Total Solution = Equipment Solution + Service Solution + Power Solution + Financial Solution
Conduct market research and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities
Oversee creation and implementation of annual business plan for assigned regional Solutions Team
Hire and train staff, as needed, relevant to product, professionalism, and electronic systems and processes
Bring energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the role and the team
Train and lead solutions team to negotiate effectively, clearly communicate goals, interests, and positions during customer discussions
Train and lead team in creating various financing options / terms to help a customer confidently agree to payment for the new solutions purchased
Lead change, bring new, original, and creative ideas to Southern States
Qualification
Required
Excellent interpersonal, oral presentation, and communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Commitment to Excellence while interacting with internal and external customers
Ability to multi-task, with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lead a team to provide solutions and secure sales
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
Must be willing to travel in Florida and Georgia market, as needed
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, but combination of education and work experience in the Material Handling Industry will be considered
5 years plus experience in material handling industry with specific background in narrow aisle equipment and systems with a working knowledge of current industry trends and the maintenance of material handling equipment strongly preferred, or related industry experience
Specific background in forklift, narrow aisle/very narrow aisle applications, equipment, power, and turnkey solutions strongly preferred
Proficient working knowledge of current material handling industry trends including Electric, IC, Specialty, Systems, and Energy Solutions
Proven track record of business development and outside sales and meeting or exceeding performance goals
