Senior Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

Perform on-site servicing, preventative maintenance, and installation of instruments and their components for our customer base
Propose and implement solutions related to instrument issues and service problems from low to moderate complexity
Provide technical support to customers via telephone, virtual meeting, email, and on-site service to minimize customer downtime
Maintain the fleet of demo instruments and ensure top performance by conducting regular inspections and repairs
Assist in training junior team members and other duties as required

Field service experienceISO 13485 knowledgeGMP environment experienceRobotics familiarityLiquid handling knowledgeTechnical support skillsCustomer facing skillsCollaboration skillsWork independently

Required

5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in field service in ISO 13485 or GMP environments
Familiarity with robotics, vision systems, liquid handling, automation, machine controls, and software systems is an asset
Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings and diagrams
Excellent collaboration and customer facing skills with a track record of maintaining customer satisfaction and instrument performance
Able to work independently with minimal supervision following training and onboarding
