Responsibilities

Analyzing complex supplier proposals within the Space Business Area of Lockheed Martin

Execution and shaping of the Material Cost Estimating (MCE) effort(s) supporting LM Space proposals

Collaborating with engineering and make/buy part planners in the pricing of small-to-mid-sized Bills of Material

Obtaining price information via historical system data and/or new quotations

Supporting system architecture effort(s)

Enhancing value through contributions to the material acquisition strategy

Supporting reviews, fact-finding sessions, and audits LM internal as well as DCAA/DCMA related to the material inputs

FAR 15 Certified Cost or Pricing Data

Use of SAP systems/LM Procure to Pay (LMP2P)

Ability to support fact-finding exercises as needed to review basis of price/cost trends and of key cost indicators

Ability to review Supplier proposals for Compliance with FAR and LM

Highly critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action
