Alabama Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Lending Intern to prepare candidates for future work and educational responsibilities through hands-on experience in the Loan Department. The intern will gain real-world knowledge of lending operations while performing tasks such as data entry, learning about loan processing, and participating in community service projects.

Responsibilities

Perform data entry for consumer loans; develop knowledge and proficiency with loan origination and analysis systems; scan and archive records; learn various aspects of credit, credit reporting, loan processing and decision making

Attend classes created to provide you with an edge in personal development

Serve on a community service project team that will focus on achieving measurable outcomes, to be determined by the team

Provide friendly, accurate service to all members and employees

Occasionally, interns may be required to travel to area branches
