Revenue Cycle Analyst - Systems & Support

North Star Behavioral Health is part of Universal Health Services, Inc., one of the nation’s largest providers of hospital and healthcare services. The Revenue Cycle Analyst will assess and enhance revenue cycle processes, collaborate with various teams to optimize workflows, and analyze revenue cycle metrics for improvement opportunities.

Health Care

Responsibilities

Performs system maintenance, including updates to user security, workflows, pools, tables, statements and letter templates, and more
Attends and supports calls with vendors, UHS stakeholders, and IT as needed
Assists in testing and maintenance related to system enhancements, upgrades, and new facility openings
Coordinates support with IT and external vendors for more complex requests
Performs all other duties as assigned/required

Qualification

Revenue Cycle OperationsData AnalysisSystem MaintenanceMicrosoft OfficeCommunication Skills

Required

3-5 years of experience in revenue cycle operations
Relevant college degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, health information management, or similar
Basic knowledge of healthcare finance or revenue cycle operations
Understanding of registration, charging, billing, collections, and denials management processes
Strong professional written and verbal communication skills
Proficiencies in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.)
Ability to meet deadlines and multitask
Significant Revenue Cycle experience (i.e., 5+ years in addition to the minimum) might be accepted in lieu of certain college education requirements
Up to 15% domestic travel dependent on business need
