Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, doors, gates, and general building systems
Respond promptly to maintenance service requests, work orders, and emergency calls
Troubleshoot and repair facility components including doors, gates, lighting, and mechanical systems
Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and proactively address them
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards
Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency maintenance needs
Communicate professionally with team members, managers, and vendors
Complete any and all other assigned duties
Consistently utilize the MaintainX system via mobile device as directed by leadership and management to receive, log, track, and complete all work orders, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks. Ensure all entries are completed accurately and in real time, including detailed notes, photos, and status updates. Meet assigned response times for each task to support operational efficiency, and maintain compliance with safety, quality, and documentation standards as monitored through the platform
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training, Journeyman License in a trade
5+ years of experience in commercial general maintenance or skilled trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
Experience with facility repairs such as roll-up doors, gates, locks, lighting, and painting
Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation
Willingness and ability to work on-call during evenings, weekends, and holidays as assigned
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working on ladders, in outdoor conditions, and in physically active roles
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
