The Tax Accountant Intern will be responsible for supporting various functions on the Accounting team, including communication with accounting professionals and assisting with tax-related responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Registration of new entities with Secretaries of State

Modifications of existing entity information with the Secretaries of State

New State Payroll and tax account creation

Review and help resolve any state notices

Other Tax items as needed

Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Bachelor's in Accounting/Tax/FinanceCMACPA certificationAdvanced ExcelNetsuite experienceAnalytical skillsTime management skillsSelf-motivatedCritical thinking

Required

Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Tax/ Finance or higher from an accredited college or university

Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel (and other Microsoft Office products)

Excellent analytical and time management skills

Self-motivated, self-starter with ability to work autonomously

Critical thinker and self-starter, able to produce quality materials within tight timeframes

Preferred

Working towards industry certification (e.g. CMA or CPA)

Netsuite experience
