Responsibilities

Serve as ERM’s ECMC Subject Matter Expert for soil, groundwater, and sediment remediation
Design and negotiate remedial strategies using both traditional and emerging technologies
Engage with local, state, and federal regulators to ensure compliance and foster collaboration
Prepare technical reports, proposals, and lead client presentations
Drive business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships
Mentor junior consultants and delegate project tasks effectively
Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate innovative approaches into project delivery
Lead planning for site closure and progress projects toward regulatory completion

Required

10+ years of progressive experience in site investigation and remediation under Colorado-specific and federal programs (RCRA, CDPHE, ECMC)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related field
Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
Strong safety mindset and adherence to health and safety protocols
Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area

Preferred

Experience negotiating remedial solutions using innovative technologies
Established relationships with Colorado regulatory agencies
Business development experience and ability to generate repeat client engagements
