Manager, Business Applications
Superlanet is seeking a Manager of Business Applications for our healthcare client in Texas. This role involves providing leadership and logistical support in system evaluation, implementation, programming, analysis, and end-user application education.

Responsibilities
Manage and lead a team of application specialists, including hiring, training, evaluation, and performance management
Oversee application implementation, upgrades, and ongoing support, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and project scope
Allocate and schedule resources to support all Hospital Information System (HIS) applications organization-wide
Stay current with emerging Healthcare Information Systems trends and technologies in financial, clinical, and decision support applications
Ensure compliance with regulatory and certification standards, including DNV, ISO9001, HIPAA, and HITECH
Maintain licensure and contract renewals for all HIS software applications
Provide logistical and operational support for all departmental HIS applications (excluding standard desktop applications)
Serve as the primary lead for evaluating, acquiring, and implementing new healthcare information systems
Coordinate internal and external resources for system upgrades and maintenance cycles
Ensure adequate training programs for hospital and medical staff on HIS applications
Maintain high quality control standards during implementations, upgrades, and system changes
Respond promptly to non-routine user support requests and ensure timely resolution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field required (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing healthcare information systems within an acute care hospital environment
Proven ability to interpret and apply hospital and departmental policies and procedures
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to leadership and staff across departments
Demonstrated leadership, analytical thinking, and project management capabilities in a healthcare IT environment
Preferred
Oracle/Cerner Millennium Patient Accounting (CPA) or Oracle Patient Accounting (OPA)
ERP/HRIS systems such as Dayforce or Workday
Supply Chain systems such as Premier (Aperek)
