Visiting Professor of Accounting
Texas A&M University–San Antonio is seeking applications for a Visiting Professor or Lecturer of Accounting to begin in January 2026. The role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate accounting courses, mentoring students, and supporting departmental service and program development.

Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in accounting
Advise and mentor students
Support curriculum development and accreditation activities
Engage in service to the department, college, and university
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Accounting, or J.D. with CPA certification
Evidence of effective university-level teaching
Commitment to student success and comprehensive teaching practices
Preferred
Doctorate in Accounting or closely related field (completed or ABD)
Professional certification (CPA, CMA, CIA, or equivalent)
Experience teaching first-generation student populations
