Responsibilities
Act as account lead for clients and provide daily counsel
Oversee account activities and ensure quality, strategic and creative work
Partner with senior account leaders to develop strategy
Oversee a team of junior staff to execute strategies
Develop media strategy for product/service announcements, executive visibility programs, and proactive campaigns
Foster and grow junior staff skill sets across accounts
Qualification
Required
5-7 years of experience, preferably agency, working in technology (or related) environments, such as AI, cybersecurity, software, B2B and B2C
Experience developing media strategy for media initiatives such as product announcements, proactive campaigns, executive thought leadership, etc
Proven success earning media results for clients in business, tech and industry trade publications, with press relationships or recent coverage examples and offering counsel to clients on media strategy
Ability to lead leading accounts or large programs and providing direct oversight of junior staff (teams of 2-4 people)
Strong collaborator with ability and willingness to seek consensus; uniting groups of individuals together to achieve goals
A curious, entrepreneurial spirit that will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment by being proactive, always asking questions and taking a solutions-oriented approach to all work
Champion the use of AI tools and emerging tech to enhance writing, research, and automate workflows for efficiency
Ability to travel on a short-term basis for client and business demands
Previous experience of coaching and managing more junior employees
Proven record in high client satisfaction and retention levels
