Responsibilities

Manages all administrative, operational, financial, and human resources functions for the Acquisition and Technology Management (AT) component, ensuring alignment with Agency strategic goals
Serves as a key advisor to the Associate Director, AT, representing their interests and making decisions on their behalf in various forums
Leads strategic planning, program development, and implementation to achieve organizational objectives and improve operational efficiency
Streamlines internal and external communications, facilitating information flow between stakeholders and directorates
Analyzes existing processes, identifies areas for improvement, and implements solutions to enhance productivity and resource utilization
Develops, monitors, and executes the component budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with strategic priorities

This position requires Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification requirement
Incumbent is required to obtain Advanced - Program Management Certification within (48) months of entering this position and is expected to meet all related certification requirements per DoDI 5000.66
Acquisition Workforce members must engage in at least 80 hours of continuous learning every 2 years
The experience described in your resume will be evaluated and screened from the Office of Personnel Management's (OPMs) basic qualifications requirements
Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-14 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility
Specialized experience for this position includes: Knowledge of working a wide range of enterprise management and support functions, such as, contracting and procurement, financial management, communications, stakeholder engagement, program integration, and Joint Travel Regulations
Proficiency in analytical and evaluative techniques to understand, respond to, and solve complex problems of each functional area
Experience directing and coordinating a variety of activities concurrently. Practice in interpersonal relationships with subordinates, superiors, and peers
Ability to plan, implement, and communicate board, complex, and often controversial programs or changes to existing programs that require coordination with DCSA management internally and externally
Administration and Management - Knowledge of planning, coordination, and execution of business functions, resource allocation, and production
Financial Management - Prepares, justifies, and/or administers the budget for program areas; plans, administers, and monitors expenditures to ensure cost-effective support of programs and policies; assesses financial condition of an organization
Interpersonal Skills - Treats others with courtesy, sensitivity, and respect. Considers and responds appropriately to the needs and feelings of different people in different situations
Project Management - Designs, implements and manages multiple or ongoing programs/projects, and directs the related resources, personnel and activities
