Research Specialist I
SDSU Research Foundation is focused on innovative research, and they are seeking a Research Specialist I to develop and test novel catalysts for the degradation of PFAS in water. The role involves preparing and testing catalysts, conducting lab experiments, analyzing data, and publishing results in reputable journals.

Responsibilities
Prepare and test the desired catalysts
Design and conduct lab experiments
Analyze the experimental data
Prepare project reports
Publish results in quality journals
Attend regular group meetings and assure adequate research progress
Qualification
Required
Equivalent to graduation from a four year university
Two years of experience in technical research or statistical work experience
Preferred
A Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical/environmental engineering, or related disciplines
Knowledge on catalyst preparation and testing
Experience in experiments on sorption/desorption, catalysis, and redox processes
Knowledge with related analytical instruments
Good English writing skills
