Responsibilities

Manages routine and complex projects with little oversight and is responsible for developing materials and presenting results
Communicates effectively with key day-to-day contacts within Finance and HR function and able to provide consulting advice
Acts as project manager on most client accounts; may lead client relationships on smaller or medium accounts
Leads or co-leads client teams, providing guidance and mentorship to less experienced colleagues
Uses analytical and communication skills to advise organizations in managing their retirement plans, including pension funding and accounting
Provide technical expertise and strategic direction on topics that affect our clients and our business
Periodic travel if necessary to support clients

Required

5+ years of experience within retirement/benefits Actuarial experience
Ability to consult effectively and in detail with clients to offer appropriate solutions and identify opportunities to grow the business
Outstanding communication skills with colleagues
Excellent actuarial technical skills, including experience with ERISA funding rules and US GAAP pension accounting standards
Qualification with Society of Actuaries (FSA or ASA) and/or Enrolled Actuary designation
Education: Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, a related field, or equivalent years of industry experience

Preferred

Prior experience of working as an Actuarial Consultant preferred
