Responsibilities

Manage municipal water and wastewater projects including water source, distribution, and storage projects, as well as wastewater collection, pumping and treatment
Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex project challenges
Oversee project budget, schedule, production and quality control across all phases
Maintain effective communication with clients and internal teams to ensure project success
Lead technical execution for large or complex multi-disciplinary projects
Supervise the preparation of technical drawings, specifications and bid packages
Ensure all project requirements and deliverables are met on time and within budget
Identify opportunities to enhance Wright-Pierce’s project standards and execution
Mentor and develop staff, fostering their professional growth
Lead business development efforts to expand client relationships and market presence
Travel to client and project sites as needed
Represent Wright-Pierce in relevant industry organizations and events

Required

10+ years of experience in drinking water and/or wastewater project engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering or similar
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) required
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
Ability to develop strong relationships with coworkers and build effective teams
Ability to collaborate with others to capitalize on Wright-Pierce's collective capabilities and knowledge
Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven, with exceptional attention to detail
Effective client relationship and exceptional proposal generation skills
A commitment to continual learning and professional development

Preferred

Experience with Bluebeam
Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations and funding processes
