Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries, analysis, and account reconciliations and assist with monthly close processes

Help prepare financial statements by gathering and analyzing information

Prepare accruals, maintain schedules, including fixed asset and prepaid expense schedules

Respond to inquiries from the finance team leadership and company managers

Prepare compliance reporting

Support various audit activities such as review costs; prepare schedules required for audits

Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data

Other accounting assignment as needed

Protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential

Continuously monitor processes and help identify and understand challenges and propose creative solutions

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred

3 years of experience in general staff accounting

Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture in a fast-paced environment

Collaborative working style and able to work well in a team environment

Working knowledge of GAAP, GL accounting and account reconciliation

Experience with accounting ERP system

Interpersonal and effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact with various levels of key stakeholders

Ownership and pride in work products

Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office products

Personal effectiveness, credibility, and high ethical conduct
