They are seeking a Purchasing Analyst/Estimator to prepare material take-offs, maintain system setups, and develop vendor relationships to support their Jacksonville Division.

Responsibilities

Prepare material take-offs and verification on existing and new product categories
Maintain system set-up and customization
Develop and maintain specifications and scopes of work
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors
Responsible for bid collection, specification details, plan updates, software implementation
Correlate with Construction management regarding adjustments to plans, vendors, materials, etc
Ongoing process improvement tasks between purchasing, design studio, and sales

Required

BA in Construction Management, Building Sciences or related discipline
3+ years minimum of residential or commercial material take-off experience
Experience in Construction estimating
Skilled user in MS Excel, New Star, BuildPro/SupplyPro a plus
Proven experience with floor plan development and design
Strong interpersonal and technical skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities or projects
