The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. is a full-service consulting firm that provides a range of engineering and consulting services. They are seeking a Project Accountant to manage invoicing, maintain contract information, and assist Project Managers with financial tracking and account collections.

Responsibilities

Responsible for invoicing in compliance with corporate policies and procedures

Maintenance of contract information, which includes, but is not limited to maintaining accurate files of client and subcontractors agreements. Will work closely with Project Managers & Principals in preparation of project budgets and other pertinent contract information

Responsible for setup and maintenance of projects in Deltek Vision accounting software

Works closely with the Project Managers tracking monthly invoices, additional service requests and change orders. This may require visiting other offices on occasion

Provides assistance to Project Managers and Corporate Leadership in account collections, receivables and payables

Works closely with clients and subcontractor’s accounting departments

Other accounting responsibilities may include accounts payable & unit entry

Required

2+ years of experience

Ability to work independently and be deadline driven

Detail-oriented problem solver

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Strong analytical skills

Proficiency with accounting software packages

Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency

Preferred

Prior experience with an Architecture or Engineering firm

AEC industry experience

Accounting or finance degree

Deltek Vision / Vantagepoint proficiency
