Responsibilities
E3 Computation and RF Modeling and Simulation
Develop detailed EMI/EMC test plans
Participate in EMI/EMC test planning meetings and test readiness reviews
Perform EMI/EMC testing; gather, reduce, and analyze resulting data
Prepare and publish detailed EMI/EMC test reports
Review technical documentation and technical meeting support
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline
Six (6) years of experience in one or more of the following, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or Naval Architecture
Four (4) years of experience in experience in theoretical and practical aspects of Research, Development, Test, Engineering, or Integration related to warfare systems or electronic systems
Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following specific topside areas: RF and Microwave Engineering; EMP; E3; EMI/EMC; E3 Computation and RF Simulation; E3/EMI/EMC/PCI Testing; Defense Acquisition Engineering; EMI problem investigation; E3 instructions, standards, policies and procedures; Spectrum, EMC, or RADHAZ Certification; EMI/EMC analysis and assessment; EMI Planned Maintenance System (PMS); USN Optimized Fleet Response Plan (O-FRP); EMI Control and Mitigation; EMI Control or Measure Drawings
Must be able have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance
