Head of Strategic Partnerships

Equator is transforming how biopharma launch teams operate by building intelligent, AI-native workflows. As the founding Head of Strategic Partnerships, you will architect the partnership ecosystem and drive the development of a comprehensive partnership program that is integral to the company's growth.

Responsibilities

Develop the strategy from first principles – Identify and segment the landscape of potential partners, from boutique life sciences consultancies to large system integrators. You will define the ideal partner profile and the value proposition for them
Design the commercial model – Structure partnership agreements, including referral, reseller, and implementation models. You will own the economic and operational framework that ensures mutual success
Build the pipeline – Systematically identify, engage, and recruit the first cohort of high-potential partners who share our vision and have trusted relationships within biopharma
Forge foundational relationships – You will be the face of Equator to our most important strategic partners, building deep trust and alignment with their leadership
Drive partner enablement – Create the playbook, materials, and training to empower our partners to effectively communicate Equator's value, integrate our product into their offerings, and deliver success for their clients
Serve as the voice of the partner – Create a tight feedback loop between our partners and our product/engineering teams, translating market and partner needs into actionable insights that shape our roadmap. You are the antenna to the market

Required

You are a first-principles thinker who sees partnerships not just as a sales channel, but as a product in itself—one that requires thoughtful design, iteration, and a clear value proposition
You have a proven track record of building and scaling partnership or channel programs for B2B enterprise software from an early stage. You've built something from 0 to 1
You are commercially astute and intellectually curious, capable of structuring complex deals and quickly grasping the technical and strategic nuances of our AI platform and the biopharma industry
You build trust and credibility with senior executives effortlessly. You are seen as a strategic advisor, not a transactional salesperson
You are an exceptional communicator, able to articulate a complex vision with clarity and conviction to both internal and external stakeholders
You bring a strong bias toward action and thrive in ambiguity. You know how to create structure and drive outcomes in a dynamic, early-stage environment

Preferred

Experience within the life sciences or biopharma ecosystem (or selling into it) is a significant advantage
