Responsibilities
Cleans manufacturing equipment, production tools, floors
Handles detergents to clean and sanitize process equipment
Establishes a clean environment for producing and packaging quality products
Ensures equipment and facility are effectively sanitized in accordance with established food manufacturing regulations
Performs plant cleaning as prescribed by the Master Sanitation Schedule
Maintains general housekeeping in all areas of the plant
Utilizes powered cleaning equipment that may include powered lifts, scissors lifts, power washers, foam applicators, steamers, automatic compactors, motors and various non-mechanized equipment
Works independently, in a high efficiency level and learns and performs proper Allergen Elimination Procedures
Qualification
Required
Must pass a physical capacity test
Preferred
High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Machine cleaning experience preferred
