Director of Product Marketing

EF Educational Tours is a global organization focused on experiential learning and educational travel. They are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Product Marketing to build the product marketing function, develop messaging frameworks, and drive marketing strategies for their international and domestic student travel programs.

Responsibilities

Build the product marketing function: establish tools, processes, engagement model, and KPIs for product marketing
Craft positioning & messaging: Clearly articulate the value of our collections and tours for all customer groups, with a primary focus on educators
Drive product marketing launch and promotion process: Lead marketing strategy for launches and featured products, collaborating with Product, Sales, and Operations to ensure alignment and readiness
Uncover and apply insights: Conduct and leverage research and analyze data to inform product positioning, messaging, and promotional plans
Enable sales success: Create relevant materials and supporting documents to make it easy for sales teams to guide customers to the right product
Collaborate with teams in and outside of marketing: Work cross-functionally to develop compelling assets and campaigns that bring our tours to life, including merchandizing our products online
Champion the customer: Serve as a voice of the customer, bringing user needs and feedback in cross-functional planning
Measure impact: Monitor and communicate the business impact of product marketing efforts

Required

8+ years of marketing experience
3+ years in product marketing and leadership roles
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Communications, Marketing, etc.)
Ability to translate market insights into differentiated product positioning
Experience in collaborative environments
Ability to tell compelling stories that resonate internally and externally
Deep understanding of customer, ideally with experience in education, youth travel, edtech, or mission-driven companies
Awareness of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices

Preferred

MBA or advanced degree
