Responsibilities

Diverse Responsibilities: When you’re not the live connection to the field, you’ll engage in a variety of stimulating tasks such as updating firmware/software, performing data entry into the Key Management Facility (KMF), supporting field operations, and participating in exciting blitzes
Cutting-Edge Technology: Work with the latest in cryptographic key management for encryption keys, supporting ICE TACCOM options across specified locations
Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of the curve as we plan to upgrade our core equipment to future software releases. You’ll be at the center of these advancements, ensuring you remain proficient and up-to-date with the latest technology
24/7 Impact: Your role will be crucial in providing shiftwork support to ensure our CORE facilities operate seamlessly around the clock
Hands-On Experience: Assist with CORE User Management, CORE applications support, and CORE server maintenance
Innovative Projects: Be part of planning, engineering, optimization, redundancy, and migration to new software platforms/architectures
System Monitoring: Engage in monitoring systems, reporting outages, troubleshooting, and resolving issues
Collaborative Environment: Work closely with the customer and team to coordinate and assist with scheduled and unscheduled system maintenance and rollovers to DSR sites

Required

At least 2 years' experience managing a Motorola Core
Completion of the following essential training modules: Bridging the Knowledge Gap for Astro® 25- System Administrator (ACT101E), Intelligent Middleware (IMW) Operations and Administration (RDS2025), ASTRO® 25 Security Patch Management (AST2001V), ASTRO® 25 IV&D Radio System Administrator Workshops (AST4102), ASTRO® 25 IV&D System Core Workshop (AST4103), ASTRO25 IV&D System Overview (AST1038), ASTRO® 25 IV&D Secure Communications Workshop (AST4207), ASTRO® 25 IV&D Dynamic System Resilience (ACS715023), System Overview for ASTRO® 25 IV&D Information Assurance (ACS715211), MCC 7000 Series Dispatch Consoles Overview (CON014), MCC 7000 Series Dispatch Consoles Workshop (CON012), ASTRO® 25 IV&D Domain Controller Administration (AST2015)
